Youth Volunteering - Funding ended March 2011

V-Involved is a national youth volunteering programme for 16-25’s. Its aim is to inspire one million more young people to volunteer. To do this, V is working to increase the quality and diversity of volunteering opportunities available to young people.

The West London V-Involved Team covers the 6 West London Boroughs and is headed by West London Network.

V-Involved aims to work in partnership with organisations and young people to develop youth volunteering, and can provide support in finding suitable volunteering opportunities and placements. We offer a variety of exciting full- time, short-term, part-time opportunities in areas such as mentoring, sports, magazine design, administration, hospitals, advertising, youth work and much more. With hundreds of new and exciting volunteering opportunities to choose from, you’ll gain experience, develop new skills, refine the ones you already have and could earn a prestigious V-inspired award to add to your CV.

V-involved are committed to giving young volunteers the recognition they deserve. We are offering young people a chance to apply for the V-50 and V-Impact National Awards.

This is a recognition scheme to highlight a young person’s amazing talents and celebrate the difference they have made in their local community.

Hillingdon Youth Action Team is a group of young people who would like to be involved in the development and running of the new national youth volunteering programme funded by v. It will be made up of young people, like yourself, from across Hillingdon click here to find out more
