Older People' Welfare - Dining Assistants
We have about 20 plus service users on the days that the dining centre is open. They receive a 2 course meal which is supplied by the Borough Council.
Training is provided to assist with a caring position.
We provide a dining centre which is available 2 days per week for elderly people over 60 held at the dining centre in Child’s Court, 38A Hemmen Lane, Hayes (Tuesday & Wednesday)

Skills and Qualifications:
A Volunteer is needed to help set up the dining room, serve the ready prepared means and then take them to the tables. Help also needed in the kitchen with washing up as well as help to prepare and serve tea and biscuits and other general tasks.
You will be joining a team of at least 3 volunteers
A helpful and cheery person with an empathy for older people who enjoys a chat.
