Small development grants scheme

Hillingdon Council is pleased to announce it's new small development grants scheme is now open!

Organisations looking to develop a new idea or project that meets the needs of their organisation and residents of the borough can apply for a Small development grant.

We are looking to award between 15 and 20 grants for quality projects to groups with a proven track record of delivery in the borough. Groups can apply for a maximum of £2,500 and the grant must ultimately benefit borough residents.

A small development grant could be used for:

  • Groups looking to modernise/improve their practices and enhance their impact. This could include exploring mergers, collaborations, transformational change, developing social enterprises etc.
  • To trial or pilot projects where the intention, if successful, is to develop new permanent services. This could be in response to new policy, for instance, the personalisation agenda or universal credit or other policy changes.
  • Projects that meet an emerging need

Deadline for applications is noon, 31 May 2012.

Applications can be emailed to bgannon@hillingdon.gov.uk or sent by hard copy, with all the supporting documents, to
