Give It a Go recruitment

Give it a Go 2012 is a large scale, high profile marketing campaign which aims to raise the awareness of sports provision across London, and to get more people of all ages and abilities involved with their local sport and physical activity providers.

Sport providers of any size or type can apply for up to £350 of funding to set up a new session at their club during October and November 2012. In addition to the funding, clubs will benefit from an extensive and high profile marketing campaign being coordinated by PRO-ACTIVE London and each Local Authority.

Deadline for applications: Sunday 5th August at 5pm.

Results from the previous London Give it a Go Programme clearly demonstrate the value of this initiative in increasing club membership as over 3,000 participants took part in the February campaign and 72% of those who took part expressed an interest in joining a local club. As a follow up Pro-Active London recently surveyed 30 providers, of which 25 confirmed they had now increased their regular membership through Give It a Go.
