Business as usual at HAVS
Hillingdon Association of Voluntary Service (HAVS) has had it's core funding cut by half by Hillingdon Council from April 2012. But it is not all gloom there has been some success in securing funding in partnership with Ealing, Brent, Harrow, and Hounslow CVS. Out of the £965,000 allocated to the partnership submitted by Ealing CVS, £150,000 has been allocated to Hillingdon Association of Voluntary Service for cross borough partnership projects.
HAVS still has projects and services running in the London borough of Hillingdon and work strategically with other voluntary and community sector initiatives. Some of our work is listed below
- Admin Services
- Children Youth and Families Services Development
- Digital TV Switchover Help Scheme
- Finance

- Hillingdon Local Involvement Network (LINk)
- Information Communication Technology (ICT)
