Community Leadership Programme - Funding ended March 2011
The Community Leadership Programme aimed to promote Active Citizenship and provide the residents of Hillingdon with training that will help them become more involved in their community.
Active citizenship is about being involved in your community, having your say and taking part in decisions that affect you. Above all, it's about making things happen and improving the quality of life in your neighbourhood. Active Citizen Training also increases people’s confidence, motivation, skills and knowledge. The transferable skills learnt can also be beneficial to those looking for work.
